McKinley Grove


Our tenants have moved in and made McKinley Grove their home. On August 10, 2018 a picnic will celebrate the 5th anniversary of McKinley Grove. CLICK HERE for more info.

McKinley Grove is a 17 unit permanent supportive housing apartment community built in Painesville, Ohio, the County Seat of Lake County.  McKinley Grove‚Äôs supportive services focus on helping residents with severe and persistent mental illnesses become more empowered and to live independent, healthy lifestyles.  To promote healthy lifestyles amongst the tenants, support services are offered through outside agencies:  National Alliance on Mental Illness, Lake County Chapter, Lake Geauga Recovery Center, Beacon Health, and Signature Health, Inc.  This includes, but is not limited to: focusing on alcohol or substance abuse recovery, stabilizing mental health, increasing income, linking tenants with educational opportunities, volunteer or supportive employment services, and promoting engagement within the community.  In addition, Extended Housing will provide on-site and off-site staff, a tenant selection process, project committee and a formal tenant organization.
