Western Reserve Junior Service League Grant

Extended Housing is proud to announce that we have been awarded a grant of $2,952.99 from the Western Reserve Junior Service League on April 19, 2018. Allen Germ, Building Superintendent, attended the recognition ceremony to receive the award plaque and shared information about Extended Housing. We are very grateful to have received funding from the Western Reserve Junior Service League for the past 10 years and their continued support of Extended Housing’s mission.

The money from this grant has been used to purchase maintenance tools including: industrial leaf blower, plumbing snake, hammer drill and self-propelled lawn mower. These tools are important to Extended Housing’s work because they will save the organization time and money by no longer having to rent them when needed. Our maintenance staff tries to be as responsive to our client’s needs as possible and having the right tools allows them to help them out immediately.

Our maintenance staff provides service to all of Extended Housing’s 18 properties and landscaping to our Perry, North Cost, McNaughton, East Walnut properties. Providing our clients with exceptional service and keeping our properties clean and well maintained is crucial to achieving the mission of Extended Housing. We commend our maintenance staff for continuing to go an excellent job and improving the services that they provide for our clients.
